For Michael Jackson fans who own a HD ready LCD TV – they will be pleased to note that the memorial service will be shown in high definition on both the Sky News channel and Sky Arts 1 HD channel. However, for those who do not have an LCD TV there are numerous ways of watching this monumental service.

The memorial is due to start today during normal working hours in the US and because of this, it is anticipated that most Americans will be watching the memorial service via the internet. Today, according to many online experts, will be the internets ‘biggest day’.

MySpace will provide free live streaming of the event, with the ability to comment or link over to Michael Jacksons profile. Sarah Joyce of MySpace Music told the times that “We are picking up the stream and showing our support”.

Channel 5 will show a special news programme entitled “Michael: The World Says Goodbye” which will be broadcast from LA from 18:30 to 20:00.
